基于手性超材料的太赫兹波非对称传输的研究
A study of asymmetric transmission of terahertz waves based on chiral metamaterials

Abstract
In order to study the THz waves asymmetric transmission characteristics of artificial electromagnetic meta-materials, a metamaterial was designed and constructed in the form of a bilayered continuous U-shaped structure. Its THz waves asymmetric transmission characteristics were then analyzed using finite element simulation.The re-sults show that the asymmetric transmission coefficient can reach 0.77 at around 2.9 THz, with good asymmetric transmission characteristics in the THz waves frequencies.Furthermore, structural parameters of the metamaterial were optimized to obtain promising performance.The THz waves asymmetric transmission device has many advanta-ges, such as simple structure, low cost and easy fabrication.It could provide an important opportunity for develo-ping various metamaterial-based functional devices, for instance, THz waves filters and switches.关键词
