摘要

Abstract

Genotype,phenotype,and environment are the three integral components of modern genetics re⁃search.Recent years have witnessed the rapid development of high⁃throughput sequencing technologies which make the research of genotyping easier and faster.However,due to the dynamic complexity of phenotype,the re⁃search of phenotyping lags much behind that of genotype.In order to find out and use the information from ge⁃nome,transcriptome,proteome,and accelerate animal and plant breeding speed,there is an increasing urge to speed up the scientific research on high⁃throughput and high resolution of phenotyping.Phenomics is associated with the systematic study of phenotypes on a genomewide scale.This paper covers the relevant concept and sig⁃nificance of plant phenomics,present research status and specific technology,the main research companies or institutes are also summarized. Also the prospect of the development of the phenomics research is reviewed. It also serves as the bridge for connecting structural genome with phenome.To vigorously promote the development of phenomics and connecting with other resources,it is of great significance for advancing the efficiency of mo⁃lecular breeding,exploring the germplasm resources,which is important for promoting breeding and the agricul⁃tural development.
