摘要

Abstract

The characteristics of transverse cracks existing in the inner surface of cold-drawn seamless steel tube used in medium & low pressure boiler produced by one steel tube manufactory were analyzed.The cracks reappeared through series of tests.The results show that transverse cracks were directly related to insufficient lubrication and poor annealing softening treatment,and they were the interaction results of these two factors.Finally some suggestions on how to prevent such defects were also put forward.
