Research and Rethink on Tectonic and Form in Building Renovation Design
摘要
Abstract
This article is a summary and rethink about two courses in SAUP of Nanjing University, namely Tectonic Design and Design Methodology, which focused on the renovation of an ancient vernacular building in Nanjing. The courses offered two design methods: Tectonic design and Form design. Through the basic Tectonic principles, we tried to achieve the design concept of recreating the public space, and emphasis on the integrity of urban and architectural space in a logic of form.关键词
