Abstract
Labor is the foundation of Marxist historical materialism. Researches on Marxist labor thoughts are made under the background of the western history of labor conception, Chinese contemporary social development and the modern philosophy debates in western countries, and the research content mainly includes status, values, alienation and liberation of Marxist labor thoughts. Great achievements have been made, but there still exist some problems. Firstly, with regard to the research background, much work has been done to study the relationship between western traditional, modern philosophy and Marxist labor philosophy, but less work on the relationship between Chinese traditional philosophy and Marxist labor philosophy. Secondly, with regard to research content, it pays much attention to text interpretation but less attention to social reality. Thirdly, as for value orientation, many discussions have been made about Marxist labor value with emphasis on the significance and values of labor for people, but few discussions about the value of the nature itself. The research of Marxist labor thoughts should emphasize the combination of Chinese traditional culture and social reality, make a study on labor conception and value orientation in accordance with the requirement of Chinese contemporary development and give introspection and response to the western philosophy in labor theory. Researches should focus on how to live in harmony with nature through labor as well as on how to create fortune with labor. Human and nature is an integrated whole. The all-round free development of an individual can be achieved only when human and nature are both liberated in the course of labor.关键词
