Design and Implementation of OFDM System Based on Cosine-modulated Filter Bank

Abstract
Using cosine-modulated filter banks replace the conventional OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) systems IFFT/FFT (Inverse Fast Fourier Transform/Fast Fourier Transform), so as to achieve the OFDM system based on cosine-modulated filter banks. During the design process of the filter banks, according to the general requirements for the design of prototype filter and actual communication system for fast algorithms for using half-sine window as the original filter. Signal can be perfect reconstructed in an ideal channel. In the process of im-plementation, the cosine-modulated filter banks use IV-fast algorithm for the discrete cosine transform is to be achieved. The simulation results based on platform of matlab software show that the performance of symbol error rate and Peak to Average Power Ratio(PAPR)of OFDM system based on cosine-modulated filter banks have been im-proved.关键词
