Genetic Parameters Estimation of Wool Production Traits of Aohan Fine Wool Sheep by BLUP Model and MTDFREML Method

Abstract
The aim of the present study was to investigate the genetic characteristics of wool production traits of Aohan fine wool sheep. The heritability of wool production, body weight after shearing, wool length and fiber diameter was calculated. The results showed that the heritability of wool production, body weight after shearing, wool length and fiber diameter was 0.12, 0.12, 0.16 and 0.12, respectively. It was indicated that the wool production, body weight after shearing, wool length and fiber diameter of Aohan fine wool sheep are traits with moderate heritability.关键词
