Synthesis and application in color fixing of 3-chloro-2-hydroxypropyl octadearyl dimethyl ammonium chloride
摘要
Abstract
3-Chloro-2-hydroxypropyl octadearyl dimethyl ammonium chloride was synthesized by octa⁃decyl dimethyl tertiary amine and epichlorohydrin in the presence of hydrochloric acid. The influences of molar ratio of octadecyl dimethyl tertiary amine and hydrochloric acid, acidification temperature, reaction tempera⁃ture, molar ratio of octadecyl dimethyl tertiary amine and epichlorohydrin and reaction time on the cationic de⁃grees of fixing agent were investigated. With scanning electron microscope, the structure changes of the sam⁃ples surface before and after fixation was observed and the fixation performance of fixing agent was mea⁃sured. The results showed that the optimal synthesis conditions of fixing agent were n(octadecyl dimethyl ter⁃tiary amine)/n(hydrochloric acid)=0.9, acidification temperature was 50 ℃, n(octadecyl dimethyl tertiary amine)/n(epichlorohydrin)=0.9, reacted at 80 ℃ for 5 h. Fixing agent synthesized under this condition was used for fix⁃ation of cotton fabric, and the color fastness to soap and the color fastness to rub were improved.关键词
