Abstract
Objective To investigate the variety and quantity of airborne fungi in Wuhan economic - technologi-cal development area and to explore the relationship between airborne fungi and climate rhythms compared with central area in order to prevent fungal diseases in this area. Method Fungi samples were collected everyday in plate - expo-sure area in Wuhan economic - technological development area from Feb. 2007 to Jan. 2008. Quantity of fungi were counted microscopically. Results Fungi spores were found all through the year. More than 20 airborne fungi were found,among which the most common fungi were alternaria alternata,smut fungus and cladosporium. Quantity of Fungi related to season and climate,maximum in spring and summer and less in autumn and winter. Conclusion Airborne fungi can be found throughout the year with obvious seasonal variation of some fungi.关键词
