Abstract
Objective To evaluate clinical effects of transabdominal preperitoneal herniorrhaphy(TAPP)in the treatment of acute incarcerated inguinal hernia in adults. Methods A retrospective study was made on analyzing the clinical data of 22 patients with acute incarcerated inguinal hernia treated by TAPP between Jan. 2013 and May 2014. Results All cases were operated successfully. The mean operative time was 126. 4 min. There was no incision infec-tion,rejection reaction or postoperative death. There was 1 case with pain and 1 case with scrotal hydrocele after opera-tion. All patients were followed - up for 6 months to 2 years with no recurrence. Conclusion TAPP is safe and effec-tive in the treatment of acute incarcerated inguinal hernia.关键词
