Abstract
Objective:To study traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine treatment in patients after operation of mid-advanced colorectal cancer.Method:202 patients with mid-advanced colorectal cancer in our hospital from January 2009 to March 2012 were selected and randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group. The control group was treated by conventional Western medicine chemotherapy.The treatment group was treated by western medicine and traditional Chinese medicine.The clinical effects were compared between the two groups. Result:The levels of CEA and CA199 of the two groups after treatment were higher than those before treatment,the level of CA199 of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The average survival time,the median survival period and the survival rates of 1,2,3 yearsafter operation in the treatment group were all higher than those in the control group.The total recurrence and metastasis rate of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group,the differences above were all statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Traditional Chinese medicine combined with western medicine in patients after the operation of mid-advanced colorectal cancer has a curative effect,which can improve patients' survival time.So it is worthy of popularization and application in clinical practice.关键词
