"精、气同出而异名"论
Discussion of Essence and Qi Sharing the Same Origin
摘要
Abstract
Essence and Qi,the most fundamental concepts of traditional Chinese medicine ,were differentiated in this paper. Both essence and Qi share the same origin. Essence ,agglomerated and tangible ,is of high density,while Qi,diffused and intangible,is of low density. They depend on each other and also restrict mu-tually. Qi agglomerates to form essence ,while essence diffuses to form Qi. Essence and Qi are the same ma-terial with two forms. They are the most fundamental substance to make up human body and maintain vital activities. Blood and body fluids are the products generated by the essence and Qi. Besides ,Zang-fu organs and five sense organs depend on Qi and essence to perform their functions. Blood ,fluids,Zang-fu organs and five sense organs are the materials ,but their levels are different from that of Qi and essence ,and have influ-ence on the generation and action of essence and Qi. Based on such understanding ,a theoretical medicine with the logical system consisting of concepts ,judgment and inference would be set up.关键词
