摘要
Abstract
Since Jin and Yuan Dynasties,"internal wind" has been regarded as the major cause of the stroke,while "external wind" has been neglected. The wind pathogen is the chief cause of all diseases,and the major disease cause in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM). As the guide of other external pathogens, wind pathogen often invades the human body in combination with coldness,dampness,dryness and heat. Dis-eases caused by the wind pathogen are acute,with varied changes and rapid transmission. Wind pathogen can affect the body surface externally and damage the organs internally. It could affect the whole body. Dis-eases caused by the wind pathogen are similar to the infectious diseases caused by the viruses,bacteria,my-coplasma,chlamydia,fungi,parasites and other pathogens of the western medicine. Thus,it is concluded that"stroke caused by the external wind" of TCM is similar to the "infection related stroke" of the western medicine. More and more clinical studies have shown that infection is an important and independent risk factor for stroke,which could prove that "stroke caused by external wind" is sound and reasonable.关键词
