摘要
Abstract
Objective:To explore the reasonableness of treating chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) by unblocking collaterals based on the theory of collateral disease. Methods:Based on the collateral disease theory and the basic theory of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),after studying the concerned references,we studied the cause and mechanism of COPD in TCM and the etiology and pathology in western medicine through theoretical summarization,clinical observation and case analyses. Results:COPD is related with the collateral disease according to TCM disease cause and mechanism,and "unblocking the collateral" was ap-plicable for the treatment of COPD. Conclusion:The method of unblocking the collateral is effective for COPD under the direction of TCM collateral disease theory.关键词
