Abstract
Melkerson-Rosenthal syndrome(MRS) is a rare disorder with unknown etiology,involving the nerve, skin and mucosa,characterized by recurring facial paralysis,swelling of the face and lips,and the develop-ment of folds and furrows in the tongue. Its traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) pattern is the wind phlegm blocking the collaterals,blood stasis in the vessels,and deficiency of qi and yin,and the treatment is dis-persing wind and resolving phlegm,invigorating blood to unblock the collaterals,tonifying qi and nourishing yin. There is 1 patient treated with modified Qianzhen powder and Shengmai powder ,and the symptoms were relieved obviously with satisfactory effect.关键词
