High Concentrate Diets Induces Changes of Rumen Fluid Metabolome and Impacts on Health of Dairy Cows

Abstract
In today’ s dairy production, the metabolic diseases caused by high concentrate diet are a common problem.Traditional studies on nutritionally metabolic diseases just focused on one or several biomarkers for in-vestigating the occurrence and development of high concentrate diet-related metabolic diseases, and the results were often not complete and even might be erroneous.Metabolomics, as an important omics technology, can make a comprehensive analysis of the metabolic status of dairy cows under a specific circumstance so as to clar-ify the changes of the complex life system.This paper mainly reviewed the changes of the lactating dairy cows’ rumen fluid metabolome caused by high concentrate diet and the impacts on the health of dairy cows.关键词
