桑树茎叶饲料对肉兔生产性能和肉品质的影响
Effects of Stem and Leaf Feed of Mulberry on Performance and Meat Quality of Meat Rabbits

Abstract
The experiment was conducted to study the effects of stem and leaf feed of mulberry on performance and meat quality of meat rabbits.A total of 144 healthy 35-day-old New Zealand rabbits with the similar body weight were randomly divided into four groups, and each group had six replicates with six rabbits in each repli-cate.Rabbits in four groups were fed experimental diets which were supplemented with 0 ( control group), 8%, 16%and 24%stem and leaf feed of mulberry, respectively.The experiment was 7 days for adaptation and 42 days for trial period.The results showed as follows: the average daily gain in 24%group was signifi-cantly lower than that in control group ( P<0.05) , while the feed/gain in 24%group was significantly higher than that in control group ( P<0.05) .In addition, a* value at 24 h and pH at 45 min of back muscle and leg muscle were significantly higher than those in control group ( P<0.05 ) .The drip loss rate and inosinic acid content of back muscle and leg muscle in 16%and 24%groups were significantly lower and higher than those in control group ( P<0.05) , respectively.The contents of linolenic acid in back muscle and leg muscle and pal-mitic acid in leg muscle in 16%and 24%groups were significantly higher than those in control group ( P<0.05) .In conclusion, when the supplemental level of stem and leaf feed of mulberry less than 16%, there is no significant influence on the performance, but can increase the muscle flavor substance content, and then im-prove the meat quality of meat rabbits.关键词
