过瘤胃甜菜碱对肉羊生长性能和消化代谢的调控
Manipulation of Rumen-Protected Betaine on Growth Performance and Digestion and Metabolism of Lambs

Abstract
This study was conducted to study the effects of betaine and rumen-protected betaine on growth per-formance, nutrient apparent digestibility and blood biochemical indices of lambs.Sixty four-month-old male Hu lambs were randomly allocated to 5 groups:control ( Con) group, 2.2 g/d betaine ( B-2.2) group, 2 g/d ru-men-protected betaine ( RPB-2) group, 4 g/d rumen-protected betaine ( RPB-4) group, 6 g/d rumen-protec-ted betaine ( RPB-6) group.The experiment has a 15-day pre-experiment and a 60-day experiment.The results showed as follows:1) compared with Con group, average daily feed intake, average daily gain and feed to gain ratio of lambs in B-2.2 group were not significantly different ( P>0.05);the apparent digestibility of dry matter, crude protein, neutral detergent fiber and acid detergent fiber were not significantly changed ( P>0.05); and the contents of total protein, urea nitrogen, total cholesterol, triglyceride, high-density lipoprotein and low-density lipoprotein in serum were not significantly affected ( P>0.05) .2) As compared with Con and B-2.2 groups, the average daily feed intake in RPB-2, RPB-4, RPB-6 groups was not significantly different ( P>0.05) , however, average daily gain was extremely significantly increased ( P<0.01) , and feed to gain ra-tio of lambs was extremely significantly decreased ( P<0.01); the apparent digestibility of dry matter, crude protein, neutral detergent fiber and acid detergent fiber were not significantly affected ( P>0.05);the contents of urea nitrogen, total cholesterol and triglyceride in serum were significantly lowered ( P<0.05) , that of low-density lipoprotein was extremely significantly lowered (P<0.01), and that of total protein was significantly increased (P<0.05), while that of high-density lipoprotein was not significantly different (P>0.05).In con-clusion, dietary addition of rumen-protected betaine is effective in improving growth performance of lambs and promoting protein and fat metabolism, and the optimal level is 4g/d.关键词
