Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical effect of laparoscopic surgery and traditional open surgery for rectal cancer. Methods 46 patients with rectal cancer treated at our hospital from June,2010 to June,2014 were selected and randomly divided into a control group (23 cases) and an observation group (23cases).The control group were treated with traditional open operation and the observation group laparoscopic radical resection. The clinical efficacy and follow-up conditions of the two groups were observed and compared. Results The operation time was longer, the bleeding volume was lower, the total length of incision was shorter, and the time of anus exhaust, the time of catheter indwelling, the recovery time of intestinal function, and hospital stay were significantly shorter in the observation group than in the control group, with statistical differences (P<0.05).There were no statistical differences in the incidence of complications, distant metastasis rate, local recurrence rate, and 3 year disease-free survival rate between these two groups (P>0,05).Conclusions Two kinds of treatment methods have similar short-term and long-term effects, but laparoscopic radical resection of rectal cancer has more advantages in the reduction of trauma, promotion of intestinal recovery, shortening the length of hospital stay and so on.It is worth being generalized.关键词
