摘要

Abstract

Mg-Al layered double hydroxides (Mg-Al-LDHs ) were prepared as carrier by supersaturated precipitation method and then AgCl nanoparticles were then loaded onto the Mg-Al-LDHs by a precipitation reaction using AgNO3 and HCl,and some of the AgCl particles were reduced to Ag particles under halogen tungsten lamp irradiation.This gave a visible light SPR photocatalyst of Ag@AgCl /Mg-Al-LDHs of high photocatalytic activity. The resulting photocatalysts were characterized by XRD,SEM,TG-DTG,FT-IR and BET techniques to determine their phase structures and micromorphologies.The results showed that the Mg-Al-LDHs of smaller size of loaded Ag@AgCl NPs and larger loading surface led to higher dispersion that not only increased the reactive sites but also enhanced the redox capability of photogenerated electron-hole pair in Ag@AgCl NPs,thereby,the catalytic activity of composite photocatalysts was enhanced.Under the visible light irradiation (λ>420 nm),Ag@AgCl /Mg-Al-LDHs performed higher photocatalytic degradation of Methylene blue(MB)than pure Ag@AgCl ,so the optimal photocatalytic activity was found with a 96.04% degradation efficiency of MB with 1 0 mg/L mass concentration under visible light irradiation for 1 80 min when the mass fraction of Ag@AgCl was 1 6%.
