Chromium Inhibition on Activated Sludge
摘要
Abstract
This paper reviews the effects of Cr3+ and Cr6+ on batch and continuous flow activated sludge systems , compares the toxicity of Cr3+ and Cr6+ ,expounds the factors that affect Cr3+ and Cr6+ toxicity including the hydraulic retention time(HRT ) ,microbial species ,pH ,sludge acclimation ,suspended solids concentration (SS) ,etc .Cr3+ and Cr6+both have different degree of inhibition on nitrification and denitrification ,and propose stronger inhibition on nitrifying bacteria than denitrifying bacteria .Cr6+ shows a more severe toxicity in continuous flow systems compared with in batch systems .The toxicity mechanism is also analyzed ,and the a prospect for future research is made .关键词
