Abstract
Objective:To investigate the efficacy of Yiqi Huatan Kaiqiao decoction on treating dysphagia after stroke. Methods:According to the registration order,100 patients with dysphagia after stroke were divided into two groups,control group and treatment group,50 patients in each group. In the control group,patients were treated with conventional medicine,swallowing rehabilitation training and acupuncture treatment,while in the treatment group,patients were treated with Yiqi Huatan Kaiqiao decoction besides the treatment in the con-trol group. After 4 weeks of treatment,traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) syndrome score,the standard swal-lowing assessment(SSA) score,and the video floroscopic swallowing study(VFSS) score were evaluated to de-termine its efficacy. Results:The TCM syndromes score,the SSA score,and the VFSS score,were all im-proved in both groups after treatment,which were statistically different from those before treatment(P<0.05). Swallowing function of the treatment group was improved more obviously than that of the control group ,with statistical difference(P<0.05). Conclusion:Yiqi Huatan Kaiqiao decoction combined acupuncture and rehabil-itation is of definite effect in treating dysphagia after stroke ,and it could promote functional recovery in pa-tients with dysphagia.关键词
