Abstract
Objective] To observe the clinical curative effect of the treatment of chronic glomerulonephritis patients with Nephritis Yiqi decoction, and to explore the advantages and feasibility of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) in treating chronic nephritis. [Methods] In this study, 60 cases of chronic glomerulonephritis who were selected from the hospital outpatient service, were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, 30 cases in treatment group and 30 cases in the control group. Two groups of patients were treated with Western medicine routine general treatment (diuretic, blood pressure control, application of prednisone tablet, control water, electrolyte, acid-base balance, and controlling infection, etc.). On the basis of routine therapy, treatment group patients were given Nephritis Yiqi decoction in the add and subtract treatment. The treatment group and the control group were treated for 3 months, to observe the improvement of clinical curative effect and the related laboratory indexes (24 h urinary protein decreased, urine occult blood in urine , serum creatinine). [Results] After treatment, the treatment group was completely relieved in five cases. Seven cases were relieved. Fifteen cases were effective. Three cases were ineffective, and the total effective rate was 90.0%. In the control group, two cases were completely relieved. Five cases were relieved. Six cases were effective. Nineteen cases were ineffective. The total effective rate was 43.3%. The difference between two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05). The urinary RBC, 24 h urine protein quantitative and the serum creatinine between two groups have dropped significantly after treatment, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The urea nitrogen treatment group have significantly lower compared with before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.01). [Conclusion] The treatment of chronic glomerulonephritis with Nephritis Yiqi decoction has good clinical effect, and can delay the process of chronic glomerulonephritis.关键词
