早期西方传教士在西藏活动综述
An Overview of Early Western Missionaries in Tibet
摘要
Abstract
Through tracking the activities of western missionaries during 17—18 century in Tibet,it points out that while the western missionaries carry out their mission in Tibet they also collected extensive in-ormation including Tibetan local geography,history,religion,race,nature, customs and other aspects.These ollections provided useful information for the later imperialist peeping at Tibet and invading Tibet .At he same time,with extreme sense of superiority of western religion and culture the missionaries intro-uce Tibet to the western society,despite the ignorance,prejudice and distortion,it provides some basic nowledge or the first foundation for forming the international Tibetology discipline on 1830 s.关键词
