Abstract
Multiphase induction motors contain multiple independent vector planes. This paper focuses on the parameter identification in the dual orthogonal planes for five-phase induction motors. Firstly, the sliding mode observer with stator resistance identification was adopted in the third harmonic plane. It is used to realize the rotor speed estimation in the wide range, and the low speed performance is improved significantly. Secondly, the online rotor parameter identification algorithm is adopted in the fundamental plane to provide precise motor parameters. The transient performance is heightened with identification for the rotor parameter variation caused by temperature variation and skin effects. A five-phase induction motor drive is constructed, and experimental results verify the feasibility of the sensorless control strategy with rotor parameter identification.关键词
