Abstract
The current geological exploration market is cold. On the surface, we can see the continued weakness in the geological prospecting market, as well as the overall surplus exploration. Profoundly, the structural adjustment of geological exploration work will be driven by industrial restructuring. In the long run, the prospects for geological exploration should brighten under the new normal of economic development. That is because the efforts we devoted in the reform of mineral resources management will help us to promote the release of market dynamics, and enhance the level of public service. This paper discusses the challenges and opportunities that the geological exploration units face in the future development. These lay emphasis on the following. First, conceptual change is the most important thing we must do; and we must properly understand the meaning of “geological work ifrst” and “ geological prospecting force”. Second, we must grasp the new opportunity and new requirements brought by oil and gas system reform, people's livelihood engineering and construction of ecological civilization; make a good use of a range of new space involving marine geology, deep and complicated area prospecting. Third, we must ifnd the localization accurately in carrying out the strategy of “going abroad”, jointly take out of the country, and attach great importance to the development condition and investment environment. Fourth, we should enhance our efforts on our own reform and adjustment, perform well in our initiatives in positioning choice and role reversal, do a sound and strong job of developing geological exploration industry on the basis of scientific and technological innovation, and continue to carry forward the traditional advantage of geological exploration units.关键词
