Investigation on the Travel Medical Service Demand of Chronic Patients in Desheng Community in Beijing
摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate the travel medical service demand of chronic patients in Desheng Community in Beijing. Methods From January 15 to 22 in 2015,we selected 120 chronic disease patients who received treatment in Desheng Community Health Service Center(Station)in Beijing. Among these patients,we enrolled 92 patients who often travelled in the past three years. A self - designed questionnaire was used to conduct survey on the patients,and the content included general information,the awareness of self - care and medical service demand amid travel. Results Subjects of different age ranges were significantly different in travel times(P < 0. 05). Among the 92 patients,84. 8% (78 / 92)would require to know about their health condition before travel;23. 9% (22 / 92)would receive physical examination before travel;56. 5% (52 / 92)would require to know about the epidemic condition of travel destination before travel;76. 1% (70 / 92)would follow the instructions amid travel;91. 3% (84 / 92)would carry commonly used drugs with them. The four issues with most concern were whether the categories and amount of commonly used drugs are adequate(91. 3% ,84 / 92),matters need attention in diet and exercise amid travel(87. 0% ,80 / 92),whether the health problems occur during travel could be addressed rapidly and efficiently(76. 1% , 70 / 92),how medical expense amid travel is reimbursed(76. 1% ,70 / 92). The three kinds of medical service that were most expected to be provided by general practitioners were consultative service about dietary health amid travel(82. 6% ,76 / 92), guidance on the categories and amount of commonly used drugs(78. 3% ,72 / 92),management of health record(73. 9% , 68 / 92). The four modes of medical service that were most expected to be provided by general practitioners were personalized travel health handbook(91. 3% ,84 / 92),one - on - one health consultation and guidance(82. 6% ,76 / 92),lectures of health guidance for travel(78. 3% ,72 / 92),reminding patients of matters that need attention by phone call(78. 3% ,72/ 92). Conclusion Chronic patients have poor awareness on the self - care amid travel,and they are at high demand for medical service demand before and amid travel. General practitioners are expected to provide diverse medical service and highly personalized service mode.关键词
