摘要
Abstract
Asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease( COPD) are two different diseases with different characteristics,but sometimes it is difficult to distinguish them,especially when asthma patients show COPD - like symptoms and COPD patients with history of smoking show asthma characteristics. It is now stated as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease overlap syndrome(ACOS). This article aims to sum up the progress of the recent clinical studies of ACOS from the aspects of epidemiology,etiology,pathology and physiology characteristics,acute aggravation,quality of life and health care costs,diagnostic criteria and treatment.关键词
