摘要

Abstract

The wild-type p53-induced phosphatase 1(Wip1)is a serine/ threonine phosphatase and belongs to the protein phosphatase type 2C(PP2C)family. Wip1 is an oncogene,and it can promote tumorigenesis through the coordination with other oncogenes and oncogenic signaling pathways and play an important role in the development of tumors. In the article, the mechanism of Wip1 in promoting the development of tumors was discussed from the aspects of the inhibition of DNA damage response,INK4a/ ARF signaling pathway,the regulation of tumor cell invasion, metastasis and apoptosis related protein expression. The related signal transduction molecules involved in the promotion of tumor development by Wip1 were pointed out. And the role of Wip1 in the chemotherapy resistance and radiation resistance of tumor cells was discussed.
