摘要
Abstract
Statins are commonly used drugs to cardiovascular disease treatment,but the adverse drug reactions of statins need cardiologists′ attention. A review was made on the research of relation between statins and new onset diabetes mellitus. By comparative study between domestic and foreign researches,it was shown that statins is indeed related with new onset diabetes mellitus,while the incidence is low and the incidence varies with different categories and different dosages of statins. For patients with obesity and metabolic syndrome,the application of statins brings higher risk for new onset diabetes,but the benefit it brings to cardiovascular events outweigh its influence on new onset diabetes.关键词
