Expression and Significance of Programmed Death - 1 of CD4 + and CD8 + T Cells in the Peripheral Blood of Patients With Ankylosing Spondylitis in Zhejiang Lishui

Abstract
Objective To investigate the expression of programmed death - 1(PD-1)of CD4 + and CD8 + T cells in the peripheral blood of patients with ankylosing spondylitis(AS)and analyze its relation with disease activity and its role in the development of AS in Zhejiang Lishui. Methods Enrolled 35 AS patients who were admitted into Zhejiang Lishui Central Hospital from December 2013 to April 2014. According to BASDAI score,the patients were divided into active AS group(BASDAI > 4,n= 21)and stable AS group(BASDAI≤4,n = 14). Another 20 people who received physical examination in the same hospital in the same period were enrolled as control group. The PD-1 positive rates of CD4 + and CD8 + T cells in peripheral blood of the patients were analyzed. Correlation between the positive rates of peripheral blood CD4 + T and CD8 + T lymphocytes and each clinical indicator was analyzed. Results Active AS group was higher than control group and stable AS group in the PD-1 positive rate of CD4 + T cells(P < 0. 05);stable AS group and active AS group were higher than control group in PD-1 positive rate of CD8 + T cells( P < 0. 05). The PD-1 positive rates of CD4 + T cells in the peripheral blood of AS patients was negatively correlated(P < 0. 05)with the proportion of CD4 + T cells and CD4 + / CD8 + and positively correlated( P < 0. 05)with the proportion of CD8 + T cells,BASDAI and ESR and had no linear correlation with CRP(P > 0. 05). The PD-1 positive rate of CD8 + T cells in the peripheral blood of AS patients had no linear correlation(P > 0. 05)with the proportion of CD4 + T cells,the proportion of CD8 + T cells,CD4 + / CD8 + ,BASDAI,ESR and CRP. Conclusion AS patients have higher PD-1 expression in CD4 + T cells and CD8 + T cells. The PD-1 positive rate of CD4 + T cells increases significantly during AS activity period and has correlation with the indexes of inflammatory reaction,and it may has important role in the immunopathogenesis of AS.关键词
