Survey on cognition and attitude of clinical mentors to Shanghai Standardized Resident Training Program

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the cognition and attitude of clinical mentors of Shanghai Standardized Resident Training Program,and make suggestions for the training improvement.Methods:A sampling survey of clinical mentors in Shanghai was conducted.Results:The survey showed that the cognition of clinical mentors on training was good,and 2.82% of clinical mentors had completely no knowledge of requirements in different stages. A total of 47.92% of the clinical mentors considered that teaching work increased workload. Clinical mentors had a relatively good satisfaction on training programs with only 8.08% of them chose“not very satisfied” or“totally unsatisfied”.Conclusion:Most clinical mentors have good knowledge of training. The survey received relatively good satisfaction on training programs. However, the teaching enthusiasm needs improvement. It is suggested that focalization of the training be improved and some incentive systems be established to improve this situation.关键词
