从日常生活活动能力视角看上海市老年照护需求
Elderly care needs from the perspective of activities of daily living in Shanghai
摘要
Abstract
Objective:To survey the needs of the elderly care in Shanghai from the perspective of activities of daily living and provide reference cater to the aged people’s needs.Methods:Cluster sampling method was used to sample 8 218 elderly people,who were 60 years old and above,and living in one certain community of Shanghai Jing’an District. Activities of daily living were used to evaluate the care needs of the elderly people in Shanghai. SAS was used to do Chi-square test and logistic regression analysis.Results:Activities of daily living in elderly presented a declining trend with increasing age. Increasing age,chronic diseases and lack of care from their family were risk factors for activities of daily living,while living alone and caring from relatives were protective factors. Estimated numbers of elderly care needs in Shanghai in 2014 was 200.4 thousand.Conclusion:Elderly people’s care needs in Shanghai are very large. Insufficiency of care resource and waste are coexisting. It is suggested to strengthen capacity of elderly care. It is also proposed to call on relatives and community to increase care for the elderly.关键词
