Abstract
Objective: To analyze tooth cushion type removable partial denture with the clinical curative effect in the elderly patients with severe abrasion and dentition defect. Method:85 patients with dentition defect and severe abrasion were selected,according to random number table method,divided into control group,41 cases with normal removable partial dentures,and experimental group,44 cases,using dental pad removable partial denture. After treatment,to compare the chewing function,temporomandibular joint function,and oral health level between the two groups. Result:After treatment,the masticatory function of the experimental group was 95.45%, which was significantly higher than 68.29%of the control group(P<0.01). In addition,the temporomandibular joint function of the experimental group was significantly better than that of control group(P<0.05). After treatment,the experimental pain and discomfort,physiological function,psychosocial function and total score was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.01). Conclusion:Application of tooth cushion type removable partial denture treat dentition defect with severe abrasion,it has good chewing function and the temporomandibular joint functional recovery,etc.关键词
