Abstract
Objective:To observe the effects of implementation of pain management on pain control knowledge and attitude for nursing staff in total knee arthroplasty preoperative period.Method:25 nurses who participated in total knee arthroplasty nursing were selected as research objects.Pain management procedure was performed during preoperative period,the pain knowledge and attitude regarding pain of the nurse were evaluated and analyzed.Result:Before the implementation of pain management,the totally 64% of the orthopedic nurses had learned about knowledge of pain but not systematically,64% and 32% of nurses in Department of orthopedics thought it necessary and very necessary to study.Only 8% of the nurses obtained knowledge of pain from academic journals before the pain management.The score of knowledge regarding pain of the nurses after the pain management was (16.08±4.12)scores,which was significantly higher than (9.68±3.87)scores of before the pain management,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).After the implementation of pain management, the cognitive situation of nursing staff for pain,understanding of the problems of preemptive analgesia and timed administration,understanding of drug dependence on patients with analgesic drugs in the nursing staff were significantly better than before implementation of pain management,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion:The pain management in total knee arthroplasty preoperative period can improve the nurses’ knowledge regarding pain,ensure the quality of pain control and this procedure worth popularizing and using.关键词
