Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effect of early rehabilitation treatment on short-term prognosis of patients in general ICU.Method:86 patients admitted in the general ICU of our hospital from July 2014 to July 2015 were selected and randomly divided into the rehabilitation group and the control group, each group had 43 patients. All patients were given routine treatment while patients in the rehabilitation group were given early rehabilitation treatment conducted by professional rehabilitation team on the basis of routine treatment. The incidence of adverse events(arrhythmia, heart failure, drop of bed, line out, pressure sores, deep vein thrombosis of lower limbs), 28-day mortality,ICU stay, duration of mechanical ventilation,APACHEⅡ score,self-care ability of daily life[evaluated by Barthel index (BI)] were compared between the two groups.Result:There were no statistically significant differences in the incidence of adverse events,APACHEⅡ score and 28-day mortality between the two groups(P>0.05).The BI indexes after 28 days of treatment in the two groups were all higher than those before treatment, the differences were statistically significant(P=0.000).Compared with the control group, patients in the rehabilitation group had shorter ICU stay, shorter duration of mechanical ventilation and higher BI index after 28 days of treatment, the differences were all statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:In general ICU,early rehabilitation treatment can reduce ICU stay and duration of mechanical ventilation, improve basic life skills of critically ill patients.Early rehabilitation treatment conducted by professional rehabilitation team is safe and effective for intensive patients.关键词
