Radical Resection of Recurrent Preauricular Fistula with Infection

摘要
Abstract
Objective To report treatment outcomes with recurrent preauricular fistula with infection. Methods Outcomes were compared between radical resection (22 cases) and traditional operations (21 cases) in treating recurrent preauricular fistula with infection. Results The rate of complete resolution was 95.5%with radical resection, and only 66.7%with traditional operations (P<0.05). Conclusion In treating recurrent preauricular fistula with infection, radical resection is more effective than the traditional operations in elimi-nating lesions, with similar efficacy in controlling infection.关键词
