A PM-assisted Synchronous Reluctance Machine Design for New Energy Electric Vehicle Application

Abstract
A commercial machine as the benchmark was took, used the tool of optimization design method involving genetic algorithm based on finite element method, meanwhile, applying the mechanical finite element analysis to check out the breakpoint of the rotor topology. Finally, obtained a PMa SynRM machine with great performance. By comparing the efficiency maps and operating characteristics of the new designed PMa machine and the benchmark, it's confirmed that the new machine was a competitive one which could be used to replace the benchmark directly.关键词
