Saponins Chemical Constituents from Alcohol Extract of Flower Buds of Panax ginseng

Abstract
Objective:To study the chemical constituents of the flower buds of Panax ginseng C.A.Meyer.Methods:The chemical constituents were isolated and purified by various column chromatographies and the structures were identified by combination of spectroscopic methods (MS,1 H,13 C-NMR)as well as comparisons with the literature data.Results:Chemical investigation of the flower buds of P.ginseng led to the isolation of eleven compounds,including ginsenoside Re (1),20(R)-ginsenoside Rg1 (2),20(S)-ginsenoside Rh1 (3),20(R)-ginsenoside Rh1 (4),ginsenoside Rd (5),ginsenoside F1 (6), ginsenoside F5 (7),ginsenoside F3 (8),20(S)-protopanaxatriol (9),dammar-20(21),24-diene-3β,6α,12β-triol (10) and dammar-(E)-20(22),24-diene-3β,6α,12β-triol (11).Conclusion:Compounds 3,9-11 were firstly isolated from the flower buds of P.ginseng.关键词
