摘要

Abstract

Relay cooperation has been proposed as a promising solution to improve the energy efficiency and service quality of edge users. In this regard,this work proposes a distributed auction-based relay selection algorithm to mini-mize the total transmit power consumption for dual-hop decode-and-forward relay networks over Rayleigh fading channels. In particular,we first provide the optimal power consumption of any cooperative transmission in the closed-form expression. Then,we design a distributed relay selection algorithm that assigns every user to the appro-priate relay node based on the idea of auction. Simulation results show that every user node can find its best coopera-tive relay through limited message passing with relay nodes.
