摘要

Abstract

An 100 kV compact Marx generator is designed and constructed,and it is presently operational at Northwest In-stitute of Nuclear Technology.In this paper the principle of compact Marx generator is introduced.Single polarity charge,ceram-ic capacitance,switch and insulation integrative configuration and function blocking are adopted to make Marx generator compact. The front part of the generator includes trigger,charge and gas pressure control module,and it can work reliably with gas source and AC input only.The Marx generator has a wide working range,with an output voltage range from 15 kV to 100 kV.
