武汉至西安铁路客运专线建设必要性研究

摘要
Abstract
Wuhan and Xi'an are two major cities in China. This paper analyzes the functionalities of Wuhan to Xi'an dedicated passenger Railway line in terms of regional railway network, economic and social development along the line and transportation demand. Furthermore, the necessities of the project are studied with respect to the function of the network, the corridor capacity and the economic and tourism resources development. The results show that the construction project plays an important role in the construction of express passenger traffic system from northwest to the central and east part of China to improve the regional network structure, achieve separated passenger and freight transportation, increase the traffic capacity and service quality, speed up the process of urbanization and promote tourist industry along the line.关键词
