Abstract
In order to solve problems of blown sand disaster on Sitian-Liaodun Section along Lanzhou-Urimqi Railway, this paper focuses on the causes of sand disaster based on field investigation and proposes control measures. Blown sand disaster is contributed by the local climate conditions of drought and frequent wind, the loose cutting slopes along the railway line, the spoil on the top of the road cut and the weak wind area formed within the road cut. Comprehensive consideration of project cost and actual site situation concludes that the combination of blockage and fixation of sand is employed by means of solidifying loose cut slopes, building retaining wall with spoils on the top of the road cut, and constructing high sand barriers and the large pane fixing~sand barriers.关键词
