Abstract
Changsha-Kunming Dedicated Passenger Railway Line in Hunan is one part of Shanghai-Kunming dedicated passenger railway line in the domestic railway system of four east-west lines and four north-south lines. There are many environmental sensitive points along the line with complicated topographical and geological conditions and developed karst and ground water, which poses challenges to route selection. The analysis of some typical cases in route selection and the demonstration of construction and operation of Changsha-Kunming dedicated passenger railway line in Hunan prove that the route selection design satisfies the requirement of planning, serves to prevent major project risks, meet environmental requirements and make the project economical and reasonable. The proposed route selection design is expected to comply with the comprehensive concepts to address corridor network planning, functional positioning, environmental protection, geological and economic conditions and safety in construction and operation.关键词
