摘要

Abstract

Although web-based college English teaching brings many advantages to classroom teaching, as a new teaching mode, it can cause great changes in many teaching components, such as teaching philosophy, methods, and mode. Through empiri-cal research, this paper points out there are mismatches in terms of teachers. The mismatches at teacher’ s level are as follows:teachers’ beliefs do not match actual teaching process;teachers’ information consciousness does not match their information knowl-edge;teachers’ teaching methods do not match modern information technology. Therefore, the ecological balance of traditional col-lege English classroom has been broken, which contributed to the successful implementation of teaching reform mode. This paper tries to build an applicable optimization framework of college English classroom teaching from the perspective of ecological niche, which centers on teacher development. Moreover, the concepts of teachers’ self-development and life-long learning are empha-sized, teacher training and teaching staff construction are specified.
