摘要

Abstract

On the basis of experiment, the toughening modification of PEMA was carried out. Research groups prepare the Nd2 O3/PEMA series composite materials, inspect the forming methods and conditions of the casting body composites ( the influence of the initiator, concentration and temperature) and what influences they have on the curing process of materials, and test the me-chanical properties, hardness and moisture absorption rate of the casting composite sheet. The results show that the best impact re-sistance is better than pure PEMA materials and increased by 142.86% when the content of nano Nd2 O3 is 0.3%;when nanometer Nd2O3’s content is 0.2%, the bending performance is maximum, and increased by 48.84% than pure PEMA materials; moisture absorption rate is minimum when the content of nano Nd2 O3 is 0. 5%; with the non-polar nano Nd2 O3 ’ s content increasing, the Shaw strength rises linearly, the reasons for the phenomenon are that the size of nano Nd2 O3 particle is small, big surface energy and surface tension, its hardness is much bigger than the hardness of substrate material, and the nano Nd2 O3 particles act as the harden-ed supporting points.
