巴洛克音乐对内外向个体短时记忆影响研究
The Effects of Baroque Music on Short-term Memory of Introverts and Extroverts

Abstract
This study explored the influence of baroque music on short-term memory performance by introverts and extroverts. According to scores gained in E scale of EPQ-RSC and its manual, 32 subjects selected from university students were divided into introverts and extroverts. There were 14 introverts and 18 extroverts. The experiment adopted within-subjects design of ABBA, where every participant needed to accomplish memory task during baroque music and in silence. The results show that firstly a significant main effect of baroque music condition (F= 4.262,p<0. 05) was found, and no significant main effect of personality type (F=0. 009,p>0. 05) was found. Secondly, a significant interaction between baroque music and personality type was obtained ( F=6. 858, p<0. 05) . The conclusion is the effect of short-term memory performance induced by baroque music which is influenced by personal personality types. While Baroque music contributes to short–term memory of introverts, it does little to that of extroverts.关键词
