摘要

Abstract

The feasibility of using near space platform to conduct infrared detection is studied for the infrared radiation cha⁃racteristics of the exhaust plume of stealth fighter F22. The exhaust nozzle and exhaust plume gases of F22 were modeled and simulated. The non⁃uniform gas components are divided into 390 small air columns by C⁃G approximation method of the spectral band model to approximate the uniform gases for processing. The infrared radiation intensity of F22 exhaust plume at different di⁃rection visual angle is calculated. On the basis of the above work,the theoretical detectable distance of F22 exhaust plume,which can reach up to more than 100 km with near space platform,was calculated by considering the impacts of atmospheric transmit⁃tance and blocking factor. This research can provide a reference value for using near space exploration platform to detect F22.
