Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical effect of irbesartan combined with metoprolol for the treatment of chronic congestive heart failure. Methods Eighty-two cases of patients with chronic congestive heart failure admitted to our hospital from January 2013 to January 2014 were selected and randomly divided into two groups equally. The tradition group received traditional standard treatment including strengthening heart, diuretic and vasodilator therapy, while the combined group received irbesartan combined with metoprolol therapy on the basis of traditional standard treatment. The clinical effects of two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of combined group was 90.24%, significantly higher than 70.73%of control group (P<0.05). After treatment, compared with traditional group, the combined group had more significant increase of LVEF, and decrease of LVEDd and LVESd, and the differences between two groups were statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusions Irbesartan combined with metoprolol for the treatment of chronic congestive heart failure has significant efficacy and safety, which is worthy of clinical promotion.关键词
