Abstract
Objective To observe the effect of ulinastatin for the adjuvant treatment of children with severe sepsis. Methods 80 cases of children with severe sepsis admitted to our hospital from January 2010 to March 2012 were divided into two groups. 39 cases of control group were given routine treatment, while 41 cases of treatment group were given ulinastatin on the basis of routine treatment. The levels of IL-6, IL-10, TNF-α, CK-MB and cTnI before treatment and 7 days after treatment were detected, and the APACHEⅡscore and length of hospital stay were observed. Results Seven days after treatment, the levels of IL-6, TNF-α, CK-MB and cTnI of treatment group were significantly lower than those of control group (P<0.05), and the level of IL-10 was significantly higher than that of control group (P<0.05). The APACHEⅡscore of treatment group was significantly lower than that of control group (P<0.05), and the length of hospital stay of treatment group was significantly shorter than that of control group (P <0.05). Conclusions Ulinastatin for adjuvant treatment of children with severe sepsis can effectively improve the inflammatory markers, protect the heart function, and improve children's prognosis.关键词
